Filip Naudts (1968) began his career as a set photographer at Flemish public broadcaster VRT (former BRT). Then he worked as a photo documentarian at Antwerp Museum of Photography and as a photography reviewer for Dutch photo magazine FOTO. In 1993, he set up his own studio GUARDA LA FOTOGRAFIA and in 2000 he had his first solo exhibition at National Technological Museum in Prague. Establishing himself as a prominent artist in the contemporary photography scene, his distinct style continued to develop. However, it was until 2006 that Filip felt ready to work full-time as a press photographer and photography artist specializing in portrait. His photography has been applauded by the media as well as the general public. Today Filip Naudts is a household name with his strong artist signature. Whether it’s a work made for an art show or commissioned by a choice of  popular Flemish magazines, in his creative process Filip is fascinated by beauty as well as its relativity; the aesthetic longings, nurtured by the search for the absurd.
